A son of an Air Force Master Sergeant, Mitch lived in 14 states, and understands the joy and challenges of moving. His decision to purchase a home in Melbourne was based on the small-town feel. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from Bluefield State College in West Virginia, Mitch went on to building homes in Charlotte, North Carolina during the largest growth period Charlotte’s history. Not only does Mitch have an extensive background in new construction, and renovation, he also has 35 years of marketing and advertising prowess building over $275M in sales. An established entrepreneur, Mitch created the 52nd ranked engineering and steel fabrication company in the USA from a small start-up business in 1996.
His business acumen, work ethic, and community outreach has been recognized with business awards such as the University of Minnesota‘s School of Business biggest honor, the Joel Labovitz award- Established Entrepreneur of the Year – 2007, MN Chamber of Commerce’s Businessman of the Year-2010, honored again in by Governor Dayton for his Contributions to MN Economy in 2017. He has been nationally recognized by his peers in the steel industry as a leader who was hand picked to speak in front of 2 U.S. Trade and Commerce Departments, numerous Senators, and Congressmen, and 2 Secretaries of State on behalf of the U.S. Steel Industry.
